Grace U.C.C. provides support for those in need locally and around the world through many organizations.  International humanitarian aid and social justice issues are addressed through Church World Service, Neighbors in Need, One Great Hour of Sharing, and Our Church's Wider Mission.   Each Christmas the Loyal Disciples Sunday school class sponsors the Christmas shoe boxes for Samaritan’s Purse and the Grace Snyder Circle sponsors cookies for the Carlisle Truck Stop Ministry.

 

Locally our own compassion ministry committee is spear headed by the students and teachers of the Mountain Climbers Sunday school class.  The Mountain Climbers class is comprised of special need individuals, who yearn to learn more about God and his plan for us.  This committee coordinates the collection of food and monetary contributions from our membership to support our Greencastle food pantries and help needy families acquire clothing and school supplies.
