 The Reverend James Hughes was called as Grace United Church of Christ’s pastor in August of 2006. Pastor Jim is found to be a very compassionate, common man comfortable around common people. He is an active listener. He has a terrific sense of humor and a boisterous laugh, which you will hear often. Yet, he takes his ministry and his calling from God seriously and is passionate about serving the Lord. He is active in community organizations and events.
His wife of 25 years, Diane, shares that same calling and is very active in the church and supportive of her husband’s call to ministry. They have four adult children, two granddaughters and have had 17 foster children. |
