When a young couple has made a commitment to be united as one in the state of Holy Matrimony, they look to the church to bless that union.  The church is not in the “marriage business.”  No church has to perform any ceremony.  The church does however wish for the couple to invite Christ Jesus to the wedding. 

As Pastor of Grace Church, I welcome the young (and maybe the not so young) couple to contact us about making arrangements for your church wedding.  During the initial meeting, the couple is given a packet of material with various wedding ceremonies, policies and a listing of the fees.  The wedding service belongs to the couple, not the pastor.  I will help you with your service, but the final decision must be yours (within Christian limits).
